Silica sand is an important mineral raw material in industries. Process of the Silica sand plant

The Silica sand production line can be divided into dry and wet types. The dry production line needs no water in the process, thus saving much resources. It creates no dust pollution, and products by the line has a low proportion of iron. In addition, it covers only a very small area. And the wet production line features high productivity. Silica sand produced by the dry production line can be divided into three levels, namely normal Silica sand, semi-refined Silica sand and fine Silica sand. And products produced by the wet production line can be divided into normal and fine Silica sand. Regular size specifications of the Silica sand include 0.5 to 1.0mm, 0.6 to1.2mm, 1 to 2mm, 2 to 4mm, 4 to 8mm, 8 to16mm and 16 to 32mm.

The process of dry Silica sand production line includes the following steps: crushing, separation, coarse beneficiation, fine beneficiation, winnowing and collecting. In the production line, the Silica stones are fed into the equipment on one side and become products of various specifications on the other side, which can be packaged right away.

The process of wet Silica sand production line includes the following steps: crushing, separation, coarse beneficiation, fine beneficiation, winnowing and collecting.

First, the materials will be crushed by the primary crusher. Next, the coarse materials will be transferred by the belt conveyor to the fine crusher for further crushing. Then, they will go to the vibrating screen where they will be divided into two categories. Those that meet the feeding size requirement will be transferred to the sand-maker while the rest, who fail to meet the requirement will be returned for further crushing. In the sand-maker, part of the materials will be processed into sand and become products after being cleaned. And the rest of the materials will be crushed for another round by the sand-maker.
