There are two kinds of talc mining, opencast working and underground mining. Pioneering transportation method of talc opencast mine mainly is highway developing. Talc underground mining is classified according to the main development roadway types:
1. shaft development, such as qixia talc ore and haiyang talc ore in jiaodong;
2. inclined shaft development system, such as yingkou talc ore;
3. tunnel and ore pass development;
4. combined development.
In raw ores, the talc content is above 70%. The associated minerals are chlorite and few calcite. After water spray, the ores are screened into two grain size levers by article inclined, ��300mm and -300mm.
The talc ores in ��300mm grain size lever will be directly selected on the sorting table and the first grade talc, the second grade talc and mullock are selected out. The grains in -300mm grain size level come through vibrating screen and the tailings in -10mm will be screened out and the grains in +10mm grain size level will be selected on the picking table and the first grade talc, the second grade talc, mullock and the talc defective goods are selected out.
In addition to talc lump, the factory will use two sets of 4R and 5R Raymond mill to produce paper making and cable talc powder, medical talc powder and linoleum talc powder. Manual picking talc pieces are 99 kt/a. The grain size of raw ores is 600-0mm. The raw ore grade is 70%. Concentrate productivity is 93.75%. In the tailings(0-10mm), the talc content is 5%. Water deprivation in the ores is 2t/t.
Talc powder annual output is 55000 t and medicine talc powder supply is 70% of the whole nation. In recent years, talc company is using a talc super fine powder production line to produce three kinds of super fine powder products, 1250mesh, 2500mesh and 7000mesh.
Feeding grain size is 325mesh and the major equipments are FJM680 type airflow crusher and WTC315 type turbine grade machine. Gas consumption is 40 M3 / min. The product finenesses are respectively 1250mesh(D98 is less than or equal to 10 �� m), 2500 mesh (d90 less than or equal to 5 �� m) and 7000mesh(D90 is less than or equal to 2��m). Machine-hour production capacity is 545 kg/h, 240 kg/h and 140 kg/h.
(1) Papermaking super ��, ��, �� level talc powder: super fine talcum powder and kaolinite, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide pigments are used together for controlling the describes ability, luster, brightness and opacity of paper.
(2) Cable ��, �� level talc powder: used for cable, rubber, plastic packing. The talc powder can be used to improve acid and alkaline resistance of plastic and rubber, heat resistance, impact resistance strength, thermal conductivity, tensile strength, contravariance ability, electrical insulating property and improving rubber processing performance.
(3) Ceramic ��, �� level talc powder: the talc powder is used as ceramic ingredients and can effectively control ceramic thermal expansion of porcelain body. As a glaze material, it can provide cheap magnesium oxide source.
(4) Textile super��, �� level talc powder: the low wear intensity degree and high whiteness of talc are utilized as filling and whitening agent of textile.
(5) Coating ��, �� level talc powder: talc powder is easy to disperse in water and organic matter and features with high chemical inertness and high oil absorption, which can improve the dispersion degree of coating.
(6) Pharmaceutical ��, �� level talc powder: this kind of talc powder can be used as cosmetics packing and carriers and additives of medicines and food.
